Welcome to Gelateria Sorella
Nestled in the heart of the village of Bronxville, NY, our gelato is rooted in tradition, but driven by curiosity. Alongside classics like pistachio and stracciatella, our menu constantly evolves with fresh, seasonal creations—including a thoughtful selection of non-dairy options and sorbets so everyone can find something to love.
Everything is made from scratch in our kitchen without pre-made bases. We use high-quality dairy specifically from Battenkill Valley Creamery, allowing us to control every detail and perfect the texture, balance, and depth of flavor in every batch.
Respect guides how we work. Sourcing from local farms like Battenkill at peak freshness supports the growers who sustain our region. We blend these local roots with ingredients that have a story, from single-origin chocolates to distinctive nuts and spices from around the world.
Every scoop reflects what matters most to us: quality, consistency, and community. Gelato may seem simple, but for us, it’s a way to contribute something joyful to the place we’re proud to call home.
Do you carry vegan flavors?
Yes! We consistently have 4-5 different offerings of sorbetto which are gluten free and vegan, and there will always be our 80% Valrhona Cioccolato Sorebetto as well as our timeless Limone Sorbetto, with the other two to three flavors driven by seasonality such as Guava, Passion Fruit, Concord Grape or perhaps Espresso.
Is your gelato pasteurized?
Absolutely! all ice cream in the US must be made with pasteurized milk.
Does your gelato contain eggs?
Since we make all of our gelato from scratch using traditional methods, most of our gelato does not contain eggs. But on occasion, we will offer flavors that will contain it, and in those cases, all of our staff are informed and ready to assist you navigate any dietary restrictions or allergies you have. Please don't be shy infomring our team and they'd be more than happy to assist you.
Can I order online?
You sure can!! We offer both Delivery and in store pickup.
Do you sell large containers?
We sure do!! In store we offer both Pinto (pints, 500cc) and Quarto (quart, 1,000cc) sizes, that can be filled with up to two - three different flavors. If you're looking for larger than this, email us ciao@gelateriasorella.com for our catering offerings.
Do you sell gelato cakes?
Not yet!! This is something we want to do and we will let you all know when we do! Stay tuned!!
